Pakistan must learn from the Iran vs. Israel debacle and what Pakistan should be learning.
There are many lessons that have to be highlighted by each media outlet and expert. However, the biggest lesson is for Pakistan as well, because the Iran debacle has left Pakistan wondering what should be done in the future so that the failures of Iran can be avoided by Pakistan. Iran and Pakistan's ties are not as great as many people try to portray. Whenever Iran is in trouble or has any serious issue, some group in Pakistan, mainly hired by the Iranian government, tries to portray that Pakistan owes Iran something; however, the fact is that Pakistan does not owe Iran anything, and Pakistan should first resolve its own issues, and then Pakistan can help others. Coming to the lesson, the biggest lesson is that Iran trusted Indian citizens more than Pakistan. In fact, Indian citizens can travel to Iran visa-free. Yes, it is a fact that Iran has allowed Indians visa-free access to Iran. However, many people do not know that there were many Afghan and Indian citizens who leaked Iranian head of state locations and air defense locations to the Israeli agency to kill those people and destroy the air defenses.
It is reported that Iran has deported an Indian diplomat from Iran and arrested 19 Indian citizens who leaked the information to Israel. Moreover, more than 2000 Afghans are arrested due to destroying Iran's sensitive sites and buildings in Iran. It is reported that near Iran's agency HQ, Afghans were making deadly drones, which were also used against Iran. Additionally, Iran relied too much on Russia, and they did not even bother to help Iran in tough times. In fact, Iran's foreign minister has to reach Russia by himself to seek clarification from Russian President Putin. However, Putin still turned down the request made by Iran. It showcases the importance of choosing the right allies, and the right ones should only be allowed to travel in your country. This is one of the reasons why most of my Iranian friends did not come to help Iran as they should have. Therefore, Pakistan's policy of deporting Afghanis is 100%, and there should not be a second thought to this.
