Pakistan need plans to save water

Pakistan needs a water-saving plan and strategy.

There is a decline in snow in winter this year, and weather experts said that this time it is expected that Pakistan will face a 23% decline in water. Therefore, it is also expected that Pakistan will face a 23% shortage of water. Just like we consume natural gas in kitchens and cooking rather than making it useful in constructive production, we as a nation are also wasting water. Pakistani people are wasting too much water on cleaning cars, wasting water on cleaning houses, etc. We as a nation have to ensure that we use the required water and do not waste it. For example, in Karachi DHA, there is no water, and residents have to pay the water bill, which is somewhat exactly the same amount as the electricity bill. Punjab, Balochistan, and KPK do not face the issue of water shortage because of the rivers and Indus water flows. However, now all of this is declining slowly, and nations need a plan to save water.

Dams need to be built at a fast pace.

At the moment, Pakistan does not have enough dams to store the water, and rainfall is going to waste. Hassan Abbas, who is a PhD expert, suggests that India cannot do anything regarding the Indus Waters Treaty, as India does not know that changing water inflow and stopping Indus water flows to Pakistan is not child's play, and it requires billions and billions of dollars. However, he also suggested that Pakistan should ensure that they work with clean water and people should drink clean water. Many experts in Pakistan say that the government needs to ensure that Dasu Dam, Diamer-Bhasha Dam, and Mohmand Dam are built and completed at a fast pace. This will benefit the nation. All those dams have the large capacity to store water, and these are also hydropower plants, which will ensure that electricity prices come down, as Pakistan's electricity prices are the most expensive in South Asia.
