Pakistan's defense budget needs to increase to a substantial level.
Pakistan Defense budget need to be increase to substancial level so that Pakistan army able to purchase the equipments it desires. Today Senator Faisal Vawda said that Pakistan Army salaries should be increase into double digit figures. There is no doubt that Pakistan Army budget should be increased to substancial level. It is a fact that India would also be aiming to increase there defense budget, which is right now 10X of Pakistan Army budget. However, on 7th of May till 9th of May, Pakistan army not only showed to India but globally that even if India has 10X of defense budget, it still lack tecnhical and techonogly advancement, which Pakistan has better comapre to India. Moreover, PAF shot down 6 Indain jets on 7th of May and still India does want to acknowledge or even talk about the jets that were shot down by PAF. However, now Pakistan must improve its weakness.
Pakistan should focus on its air defense capabilties as it was and increase diplomatic efforts to ensure that China helps Pakistan in this regards. Pakistan must upgrade its air defense capablites as well government of Pakistan must also focus on Pakistan navy. Pakistan navy must get more submarine, nuclear capablites and figher ships as well to stregth Pakistan Navy. Moreover, it is reported on the media and some forum as well that Pakistan army intital quota with China for production of JF-17 Thunder is 200 units quota. If this is true that Pakistan army must abolsih or throw this quota out of the window as Pakistan will require a non stop production of JF-17 Thunder because India has planned to purchase 114 fighter jets from different nation under MFRA deal. Moreover, Pakistan also should fast track diplomatics efftorts to get J 35, which is 5th Gen fighter get, which will Pakistan more edge against India.
